Interpretation: Teapots carry a richer history than any other ceramic object in our household and is a symbol of potent. The astonishing variety of teapot shapes give Jamila a sort of happiness no other object can rival. The pleasant taste of tea had greatly inspired Jamila, and that inspiration was poured into her artwork, thus creating the Teapots series. Her observations of her surrounding colours and patterns of ornaments had bled onto her canvas at the stroke of her brush, creating artworks of teapots. She has created her own unique masterpiece of her sweet memories in enjoying hot tea into her teapot series.
