Interpretation: During Jamila’s years in primary school, there would be a concert held for the students every year, and Jamila would wait impatiently the start of every year for it. After being detached from the event for long after graduating, though, the place in her heart where she held her joy for the concerts had been an empty void; a lost feeling she used to await every coming year. To fill its’ absence, she decided to recall those lost feelings and spread it on canvas for her eyes to see, and feel again the joy she felt when rehearsing dance steps and songs for concert day.
