Interpretation: Inspired by a fantasy landscape that Jamila drew for a competition, Lotus depicts a pond full of lotus flowers and leaves, with the presence of frogs gently sitting atop some leaves. The frogs are of a mysterious race. They have pink spots on them, something Jamila considers a cute feature frogs could have. There are even some frogs in this series that are coloured entirely in pink, something Jamila thought of that would be strange and fascinating.
